We provide structured fitness classes and exceptional coaching to help you achieve your health and performance goals!
What We do
The Exemplar Fitness Club is a group fitness centre that follows the belief that fitness is more than a hobby. It is the most basic form of healthcare, and the better we move, the better we feel.
Our methodology works for everyone, can be scaled for anyone, and the results accrue over the long term. We combine conditioning, weightlifting and gymnastics to give our members an all-round, genuine level of fitness.

cross training
The core of our fitness program, generally involving a strength and workout component. Each workout is different, and can be tailored for all ages and fitness levels, by our excellent coaches.

Extras/SkilLs
A 30 min session to compliment the main class. For those who are looking to supplement their training by working on accessory muscles, weightlifting and gymnastics technique.

Engine
Our Saturday morning, cardio based, partner or team workout. These workouts can be close to 1hr long, with a big variation in exercises, and are a great way to start your weekend, by working out with some friends.

Kids/teens
An introduction to fitness for kids and teens alike. Using the same methodology, coaches help kids and teens develop a great base foundation of movement patterns, and a healthy association with fitness for health.
Our philosophy
We want to improve your quality of life. What you do in the gym should make everything outside of the gym easier.
Like playing with your kids/grandkids, going on walks or hikes, or playing sports. You DO NOT need to be fit to go to our gym. We all go to the gym to get fit, not because we are fit. Everyone is unique, and has personal preference in what they can do, and enjoy. If you need to alter what we have planned for the session in order to keep moving, it’s better than if you skipped the session.
We want to create a positive and encouraging environment that will make you enjoy the grind, and look forward to those tough workouts, so you can get a little bit better, everyday.

Fitness without barriers
All are welcome! No matter your background you deserve a safe place to train, surrounded by people who will help you be the best you can be.
We are a family friendly gym with classes for children and teens available. Children are welcome in the gym while you workout as long as they stay at a safe distance, and we now have a small area for toddlers to play!
Most other gyms hide their prices but we believe in full transparency.
We have NO lock-in contracts, NO sign-up or cancellation fees, and have FIFO options available. Fitness and health should be readily available to all, and the payments should not be predatory.
We offer discounts for students, tertiary and secondary, apprentices, first responders and families living in the same household.

Traveller week pass
- Access to unlimited classes for a week from the purchase date.
- In town for the week and want to come in multiple times? While you’re in town, come work out with us!
Drop-in Session
- Access to 1 full hour Cross Training class and the following 30min Extras, Weightlifting or Skills class.
- If you don’t want to commit to a membership, or are just passing through, make sure you drop in for a session.
Saturday Engine
- Single class access to our Saturday morning Engine class.
- A longer, cardio focused workout in partners or teams. A great way to start you weekend by working out alongside friends. Bring some along or make some new ones!
